Dr. Robert F. Morrison
Clinical Director
Dr. Robert F. Morrison is the owner and founder of Morrison Dental Group, serving families since 1992. After completing his service with the U.S. Navy, he opened the practice with a mission to provide genuine and compassionate care for the families of the Hampton Roads region. Over the years, the practice has grown to incorporate advanced dental technologies while continuing to provide patient-focused care for individuals and families.
Dr. Morrison earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Southern Illinois University in 1979, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1982 from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a post-doctoral residency in Comprehensive Dentistry and went on to serve as a dental officer ashore and afloat from 1982–1991, including as department head aboard the U.S.S. Guam and head of the Pediatric Department at Norfolk Naval Station.
Dr. Morrison is married to Alison, who serves as Morrison Dental Group’s CFO. They have two sons: Frank, a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard, and Alex, who is the group’s Chief Compliance Officer. In his spare time, Dr. Morrison enjoys fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, kayaking, and restoring British MG cars. He is also a member of the ADA, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Virginia Dental Association, Peninsula Dental Society, and the International College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kyle Johnson
Periodontist
Dr. Kyle Johnson is excited to join our team and will be serving patients at our East Beach and Portsmouth locations. Originally from South Jersey, Dr. Johnson’s journey to dentistry has been shaped by a passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2023 and went on to complete a residency at the Naval Medical Hospital in Portsmouth, where he gained invaluable experience in rotations including anesthesia and emergency care. A proud veteran, Dr. Johnson spent five years in the Marines, serving in places like Northern California and Hawaii. During this time, he attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, becoming proficient in Chinese–a skill he has used to connect with diverse patients.
Dr. Johnson’s professional interests include oral surgery, extractions, and endodontics, and he takes pride in achieving immediate, life-changing results for his patients. Known for his down-to-earth personality and relatable approach, he goes above and beyond to ensure every patient feels comfortable and cared for.
Beyond the office, Dr. Johnson is actively involved in giving back to the community. He has volunteered with Missions of Mercy in Suffolk and led youth ministry groups at his church. He’s looking forward to participating in future events like Smiles for Heroes.
In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys staying active with the North End Run Club, working out, and reading novels by Cormac McCarthy. A self-proclaimed dog lover, he doesn’t currently have any pets but appreciates spending time with animals.
Dr. Johnson now calls Virginia Beach home and looks forward to building strong connections with his patients and community. Whether it’s through his dedication to his craft, his approachable bedside manner, or his passion for making a difference, Dr. Johnson is here to make every smile shine.
Dr. Patrina Allen
General Dentist
Dr. Patrina Allen is a Virginia Beach native and Kellam High School alum. She began dreaming of a dental career in the third grade, when a friend made her envious of her braces. Though Dr. Allen herself did not require braces at the time, she decided then and there that if she could not have them, she would help others who needed braces and other dental procedures!
Dr. Allen began her dental career as a hygienist after graduating from Old Dominion University. She then practiced as a dental hygienist for seven years before deciding to return to school. She earned her DDS from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2023, followed by a one-year AEGD residency at East Carolina University before moving back to Virginia to be close to family.
Dr. Patrina Allen is a member of the ADA, AGD, and AACD, and is certified in Invisalign and facial rejuvenation for TMJ and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Allen particularly enjoys endodontics, extractions, and enhancing smiles through cosmetic dentistry. Passionate about giving back, she’s volunteered with RAM, the MOM Clinic, and the Pinky Institute.
Outside the office, she enjoys beach days, woodworking, playing kickball, and working in her yard. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her six siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Dr. Allen lives in Virginia Beach with her dog, Oliver.
Dr. Eva Miller
General Dentist
A true Virginia Beach local, Dr. Eva Miller is overjoyed to be caring for the community she knows and loves. Being back near home means more than just proximity; it’s personal. She brings not only clinical expertise but also a cheerful spirit and genuine warmth that instantly puts patients at ease.
Dr. Miller is a proud Hoo and Ram, graduating from the University of Virginia and then the VCU School of Dentistry. She completed an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Birmingham VA, where she honed her skills with veterans and complex care. She’s certified in Invisalign and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Her heart for service runs deep. In dental school, she volunteered with the MOM Project and helped administer COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic.
Dr. Miller was drawn to dentistry for its perfect blend of science, creativity, and connection. She loves the artistry behind the craft, but it’s the people that make it all worthwhile.

Sheila Manalo
Sheila Manalo was born in Cavite, Philippines and moved to the U.S. at just six years old. With over 10 years of experience in dentistry, she’s passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel genuinely cared for. Sheila believes a smile plays a huge role in confidence, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of each patient’s journey to feeling their best.
Outside the office, Sheila loves exploring new places and trying new experiences—especially when it means making memories with her two kids, Gianni (4) and Milan (8). Her warmth, dedication, and positive energy make her an absolute asset to our Norfolk office.
